How Can I Downgrade 2K17?

Postby RayRay_953 on Sun Dec 09, 2018 4:59 am

Since the servers for 2K17 will be shut down later this month, and before it gets removed from Steam, is there a way I can roll back to the version before the players began to feel heavier - I think it was version 1.02?

This actually worked, thanks! Is there a way I can identify which version of the game I'm now using? I downloaded the one from September 17th according to the manifest.

right click on nba2K17.exe > tab property > digital signature date : you can check the date of the certified exe.

ps : on 2K18 and 2K19, be careful with this tip, it can broke your personnal data folder (rosters/sliders)

Use the version between 12/01 and 12/18 if possible. I use the 12/16.exe, and the game feels awesome. Passes are better than default. And the players are really light.

The original one isn't bad either, I juts prefer the December one.

The game definitely feels better than it did before. Players aren't heavy, and I don't need to add artificial speed to counteract the weight. I'll try the December .exe later on and compare the two.

Speaking of the December .exe, the only one listed on the manifest is on December 15, so is that the one you were referring to Dee?

Yup, it's the one I use in all my videos. I love it
