NBA 2K9 is the tenth installment in the NBA 2K series, released in the US and Canada on October 7th 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2. It is the first game in the NBA 2K series to be available on PC, released in North America on October 20th 2008. It is the direct sequel to NBA 2K8 and was followed by NBA 2K10. Kevin Garnett appeared on the game's cover.
